Wireless use of the Soundshuttle for Classrooms

The Soundshuttle can be used with a wireless mic (e.g. the $50 Radio Shack item 32-1257) to cover the range of a classroom. This allows the person speaking to be anywhere in the room while you hear using the Soundshuttle. Connect a cord (not included) from the wireless mic receiver into the Soundshuttle “EXT MIC” outlet.

Note: The wireless receiver needs to be plugged into power so you will need to sit near a power outlet (the person speaking who can be up to 200 ft. away).

"I have been HOH for quite a few years and had gotten to the place where I didn't go anywhere and if I did I always had someone with me to help. I finally got tired of that and am now the proud owner of a portable loop.I actually went out to buy a new matress and had a conversation with the sales man. It was wonderful. After that I went to a meeting with one of my customers and we talked face to face instead of by email.I just can't tell yall how great I feel about doing this.It really is the first time in many years that I felt confident enough to go out alone.I know that this is just the first step of getting back out into the world and it is just sooooo exciting I used it when I went out to eat without the mic and it picked up alot of noise from around us after that I knew that there are times that the mic is needed and times when it's not.
